About Us

   We have over 40 years experience in automotive reclamation, dismantling, and automatic transmission parts identification. The owner of TN Powertrain, Scot Howard began his career at a transmission repair shop, gaining knowledge from assisting rebuilders and R&R technicians. The shop had its own on-site parts warehouse, and Scot was promoted to parts counterperson helping fellow employees and external customers fulfill parts orders for repair jobs.

   Years later, while working for regional, multi-location suppliers of new and used transmission parts, experience in logistics, purchasing, cataloging, and large scale disassembly was gained. All the while heavily involved in sales and customer satistfaction.

   The focus of TN Powertrain is to market transmission and transfer case hard parts that save our customers time and cost compared to the price and availability of new items. Additionally, we work to prevent valuable components from going to landfill and we recycle all scrap.
